The networks released new photos of Hirsch and Grainger as their infamous characters Wednesday ahead of the 79th anniversary of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow's deaths May 23, 1934.

Louisiana police shot Parker and Barrow to death in an ambush after they robbed banks, stores and gas stations across the United States, killing about a dozen people.

Hirsch's film credits include "Alpha Dog," "Into the Wild" and "Milk."

Grainger is a cast member of Showtime's "The Borgias."
