LOS ANGELES, May 7 (UPI) -- Former "The Bachelor" star Sean Lowe and his professional dance partner, Peta Murgatroyd, were eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles Tuesday.

"I have enjoyed every second of it," Lowe said upon hearing his fate. "I truly am blessed to have taken part in this with all these stars. I'm still just a normal guy from Dallas; what an incredible opportunity."

Lowe got the boot thanks to a combination of low judges' scores and viewer votes.

Going into next week's semi-finals, along with their professional dance partners, are singer Kellie Pickler, soap star Ingo Rademacher, Disney Channel star Zendaya Coleman, Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman and NFL star Jacoby Jones.

Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet are co-hosts of the show.
