LOS ANGELES, May 6 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Jaime King announced via Twitter she is pregnant with her first child.

"Getting ready for another baby to be squeezed into this picture," King tweeted Friday, alongside a photo of herself, her husband -- filmmaker Kyle Newman -- and their two dogs.

King, who is a cast member of TV's "Hart of Dixie," did not divulge the baby's gender or anticipated birth date.

The actress married Newman in 2007 after dating him for two years.
