MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., May 5 (UPI) -- The TLC docu-drama "Welcome to Myrtle Manor," about a South Carolina mobile home park, has been picked up for a second season, officials said.

TLC announced Friday that second season of the show, which is shot at Patrick's Mobile Home Park off S.C. Highway 15 in Myrtle Beach, will start airing in 2014, The (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) Sun News reported.

The second season will consist of 10 episodes, each an hour long, like the first season, said TLC spokeswoman Shannon Martin.

Martin did not give any further details on the decision to give the show a second season.

Meanwhile, Cecil Patrick, the owner of the trailer park the show is shot in, said he was pleased that there will be a second season of the show.

"I'm so excited, I can't stand it," he said. "It is going to be as good as, or better than the first season."
