LOS ANGELES, May 1 (UPI) -- "Vegas" stars Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis will host the Screen Actors Guild Foundation charity golf event in Burbank, Calif., the foundation said.

The fourth annual Los Angeles Golf Classic June 10 "will bring together celebrities and executives from the entertainment industry to raise vital funds for the foundation's charitable initiatives," the non-profit group said.

The humanitarian and educational organization contributes to the advancement of literacy. But the golf event, which raised nearly $800,000 in its first three years, funds emergency assistance and catastrophic healthcare to performers and their families.

In the CBS period drama, Quaid plays Ralph Lamb, a local rancher pressed into duty as sheriff of Clark County when the Chicago mob begins aggressively taking hold of the Las Vegas gaming industry.

Chiklis plays Chicago mobster Vincent Savino, who moved west to set up his own operation.

The foundation is separate from the Screen Actors Guild labor union. The guild is now known as SAG-AFTRA after it merged with the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists last year.
