NEW YORK, April 30 (UPI) -- A new CNN morning news program hosted by Chris Cuomo and Kate Bolduan will be called "New Day," the struggling U.S. cable network said Tuesday.

"New Day," airing live from New York, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. EDT, starting June 10, will also include former KTLA, Los Angeles, anchor Michaela Pereira as news anchor, CNN said.

The 6 a.m. start is an hour earlier than the national editions of the ABC, CBS and NBC morning shows but coincides with Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends" and MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

CNN's "Early Start," anchored by John Berman and Zoraida Sambolin, will still start at 5 a.m. but will shrink to an hour from two to make room for "New Day."

Cuomo, 42, a former anchor of ABC's "20/20" and "Good Morning America," joined CNN in February to co-host the morning show, but also covered breaking news, including this month's Boston Marathon bombings. He's the son of former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo and the brother of current New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Bolduan, 29, was most recently a co-anchor of CNN's "The Situation Room With Wolf Blitzer." She left last month for the new program.

Pereira, 42, was a morning host on KTLA, the most popular local morning newscast in Los Angeles.

"New Day" will be the first programming stamp from new CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker, former president and chief executive officer of NBC Universal and, in the 1990s, the executive producer of NBC's "Today" show.
