LOS ANGELES, April 18 (UPI) -- Eva Longoria will lend her voice to the main character, a former music executive and mom, on the U.S. animated comedy series "Mother Up," TVGuide.com said.

Longoria was one of the stars of the ensemble dramedy series "Desperate Housewives," which ran for eight seasons before wrapping in May. She is as an executive producer on NBC's new dating show "Ready for Love" and Lifetime's upcoming drama series "Devious Maids."

"Mother Up" is to premiere on Hulu and Canada's City Television this fall, TVGuide.com said.
