LOS ANGELES, April 16 (UPI) -- Comedian and actor D.L. Hughley was eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles Tuesday night.

Hughley got the boot thanks to a combination of low judges' scores and viewer votes.

Asked after learning his fate what he was going to miss about competing on the show, Hughley quipped, "Just Cheryl," referring to his professional dance partner Cheryl Burke.

"I've had a ball," he added. "I played with house money."

Still in the running for the mirror ball trophy, along with their professional dance partners, are singer Kellie Pickler, comedian Andy Dick, boxer Victor Ortiz, soap star Ingo Rademacher, Disney Channel star Zendaya Coleman, Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman and NFL star Jacoby Jones.

Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet are co-hosts of the show.
