LOS ANGELES, April 11 (UPI) -- "Live!" co-host Kelly Ripa says she hasn't seen Regis Philbin since he left their New York morning talk show in November 2011.

The pair worked together for more than a decade before Philbin, 81, left after a salary dispute with the show's producers.

"I haven't seen him, no," Ripa told "Entertainment Tonight" at The Hollywood Reporter's celebration honoring the 35 Most Powerful People in Media list.

Ripa attended the event with Philbin's replacement, former NFL star Michael Strahan, who permanently joined the show last year.

Asked to compare Philbin and Strahan, Ripa replied, "Well, they're both incredible storytellers.

"They are both fiercely competitive, and they're both incredible football players," she added.
