LOS ANGELES, April 3 (UPI) -- Country music star Wynonna Judd has become the first competitor eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles this season.

Former Olympic ice skater Dorothy Hamill quit the show due to medical reasons last week, just as one of the competitors was to be sent packing.

Hamill's departure meant no one was eliminated until Judd got the boot Tuesday night as a result of low judges' scores and viewer votes.

Still in the running for the mirror ball trophy, along with their professional dance partners, are singer Kellie Pickler, comedians Andy Dick and D.L. Hughley, boxer Victor Ortiz, soap star Ingo Rademacher, Disney Channel star Zendaya Coleman, reality TV personality Lisa Vanderpump, Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman and NFL star Jacoby Jones.

Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet are co-hosts of the show.
