TV's 'Judge Joe Brown' canceled after 15 seasons

March 27, 2013 at 8:36 AM

NEW YORK, March 27 (UPI) -- The current 15th season of "Judge Joe Brown" will be the American small-claims court show's last, producers said.

"'Judge Joe Brown' will not be returning for another season. We would like to thank Joe for 15 great years, as well as executive producer John Terenzio and the entire staff for all their hard work and dedication to the show," CBS Television Distribution said in a statement Tuesday.

Broadcasting & Cable said the show's producers and Brown could not agree on the terms for a new contract.

Brown also told the industry publication that CBS Television didn't properly promote the syndicated show.
