LOS ANGELES, March 20 (UPI) -- Stars from "The Young and the Restless" are to appear on "The Talk" in Los Angeles to celebrate the soap opera's 40th anniversary, CBS announced.

Set to be guests on Monday's edition of the chat show are "Y&R" cast members Peter Bergman, Melissa Claire Egan, Amelia Heinle, Joshua Morrow, Michael Muhney, Melody Thomas Scott, Michelle Stafford and Kristoff St. John.

"The 'Y&R' cast will join 'The Talk' co-hosts in studio to discuss the legacy of the iconic show which has been the No. 1 daytime drama for more than 24 years," CBS said in a release Wednesday. "They'll also look back on 'The Young and the Restless's' most memorable show moments, both on camera and behind the scenes.

After the completion of the live show, the actors will participate in a web-exclusive, 30-minute Q&A."
