CBS to air Tony Awards live June 9

NEW YORK, March 19 (UPI) -- CBS says it plans to air the 3-hour 67th annual Tony Awards ceremony live from New York's Radio City Music Hall this spring.

The June 9 prize presentation honors theater professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway.

The show returns to Radio City Music Hall after two years at the Beacon Theatre.

Nominations for this year's Tonys are to be announced April 30.

No emcee for the ceremony has been announced as yet.
