LOS ANGELES, March 15 (UPI) -- Married American television stars Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman have reconciled after separating last fall, People.com reported Friday.

The couple wed in 1982 and have three adult children together. They announced their separation in October but did not elaborate on why they split up.

"They love each other," a friend told People.com of DeVito, 68, and Perlman, 64. "Always have and always will."

The pair appeared together on the sitcom "Taxi." Perlman later starred in the classic series "Cheers," while DeVito is a cast member of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
