LOS ANGELES, March 4 (UPI) -- Former "Oz" inmates Lee Tergesen and Eamonn Walker are to guest star on writer-producer Tom Fontana's latest TV show, "Copper," The Hollywood Reporter said.
Fontana was the creator of "Oz," a critically acclaimed prison drama, which ran from 1997 to 2003.
Tergesen will play a powerful criminal, while Walker will play abolitionist leader Frederick Douglass in Season 2 of "Copper," a gritty police procedural set in 19th century New York.
Fresh episodes of "Copper" are to begin airing on BBC America this summer.
