NEW YORK, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- First Lady Michelle Obama put on her dancing shoes for a video with late night comic Jimmy Fallon dubbed "The Evolution of Mom Dance."

Obama and Fallon -- dressed in drag for the bit -- performed a series of middle-aged dance floor staples Friday night like the "go shopping, get groceries" "the sprinkler" and "driving the station wagon." It was a parody on the viral video "Evolution of Dance."

From there, the skit satirized some lesser known mom-on-the-dance-floor moves, with the first lady and Fallon doing "the hip bump," "where did your father go get him over here!" and the "Oh my god! I love this song!"

She closed with "the Dougie."

Behind the laughs was a serious message, though.

Obama was on the show to promote her "Let's Move!" fitness campaign, The Christian Science Monitor said. She did "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" last year and invited the comic to the White House for a series of physical challenges including a sack race across the East Room, CNN said.

After the dancing was over, she took a turn on the couch, dishing on her husband's moves.

"I give him a B. His dancing is right here in the pocket," she said. "He's got, like, three good moves."

She also confessed to some reality TV habits. Obama said she watched Bravo's "The Real Housewives" series, but not "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."

Politico said Obama has scheduled several other television appearances to mark the third anniversary of "Let's Move!"
