CW orders second season of 'Arrow' for 2013-14

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- America's The CW network announced Monday it has renewed its highly rated drama series "Arrow" for a second season.

TVGuide.com said the small-screen comic-book adaptation has been averaging about 4.3 million viewers.

The show stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, a billionaire playboy/masked vigilante who uses a bow and arrows to fight crime. The cast also includes Katie Cassidy, Colin Donnell, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Susanna Thompson and Paul Blackthorne.
