'Housewife' Dina Manzo splits from husband

NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Dina Manzo announced on Twitter that she split from her husband.

Manzo said Saturday that she and her husband, Tommy, had been separated since October, The (Newark, N.J.) Star-Ledger reported.

"My heart hurts but Tommy & I will always share a very special love," she tweeted. She also says she's grateful for the support of her her loved ones, "especially my spiritual friends. You know who u are xoxo."

The couple has one child, Lexi.

Dina Manzo left "Real Housewives" midway through the second season, and has since started working on an HGTV gardening show.
