LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Christina Ricci has confirmed she is engaged to dolly grip boyfriend James Heerdegen, whom she met on the set of "Pan Am."

Us Weekly first reported the actress was wearing an engagement ring in October, but she only confirmed the news Friday.

"Yeah," she told the magazine. "[We got engaged] a couple months back."

The two met while on the set of the canceled ABC drama "Pan Am," the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.

Ricci was previously engaged to "Sullivan & Son" actor Owen Benjamin, but that was called off in June 2009.
