LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Showtime says it has ordered new seasons of its Los Angeles-shot comedies "Shameless," "House of Lies" and "Californication."

David Nevins, president of entertainment for Showtime Networks Inc., said the new seasons will go into production this year and the shows will return in 2014.

"'Californication,' 'House of Lies' and 'Shameless' possess highly distinctive comedic voices, and given that all three continue to grow their audience season after season -- the pick-up decision was easy," Nevins said in a statement Tuesday. "I am incredibly excited to see what each of these series has in store for their next seasons."

Starring William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum, "Shameless" is now in its third season.

"House of Lies," now in its second season, stars Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell.

"Californication," starring David Duchovny, is in its sixth season.
