WASHINGTON, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- A sing-along celebrating the 40th anniversary of the "Schoolhouse Rock!" educational cartoons is to take place at the Kennedy Center in Washington.

Roll Call said the show's former musical director, Bob Dorough, will lead the children's band Rocknoceros for the free show at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Among the "Schoolhouse Rock!" songs played on television Saturday mornings in the 1970s and '80s were "I'm Just a Bill," "Interplanet Janet," "Conjunction Junction," "Three is a Magic Number," "Unpack Your Adjectives" and "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly, Get Your Adverbs Here."
