LOS ANGELES, Dec. 25 (UPI) -- Singer-songwriter-producer Alicia Keys will perform live at the People's Choice Awards show in Los Angeles, CBS said.

She will join previously announced performers Christina Aguilera and Jason Aldean at the prize presentation, which will air live from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live Jan. 9.

"The caliber of performances we have planned for this show is beyond compare," executive producer Mark Burnett said in a statement. "Alicia is an undeniable vocal powerhouse, and combined with Christina Aguilera and Jason Aldean, we are going to have one epic show. They are three of music's biggest talents. I am simply ecstatic to have them all joining us this year."

The People's Choice Awards are voted on by fans in various film, television and music categories.
