CULVER CITY, Calif., Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Sony Pictures Television says it has sold the cable syndication rights to its American comedy series, "Rules of Engagement," to TBS.

The announcement was made Wednesday by John Weiser, president of U.S. distribution for Sony Pictures Television.

"We recently shot our 100th episode, which speaks to the ongoing appeal of this series and its cast," Weiser said in a statement. "This show consistently outperforms its competition in adult demos and households and we're very excited to be partnering with our friends at Turner Broadcasting."

The show stars David Spade, Oliver Hudson, Bianca Kajlich, Patrick Warburton, Megyn Price and Adhir Kalyan.
