UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- CeeLo Green and Kermit the Frog are to sing "Bein' Green" on "The Voice" in Los Angeles, NBC announced Friday.

The pair will perform their duet on Tuesday's edition of the singing competition show.

"Green and Kermit will also be joined by some of Disney's most beloved Muppets including curmudgeonly critics Statler and Waldorf, Animal, Fozzie Bear, Janice and The Great Gonzo," a synopsis said. "In addition, a new character will be introduced -- Lo-Co, a muppet bearing an uncanny resemblance to CeeLo Green."

"Performing 'Bein' Green' with Kermit the Frog has been an idea and dream of mine for years now and it will definitely remain on the top of my most memorable collaborations," Green said in a statement Friday. "I'm honored to share another magical, musical moment with The Muppets."

The Muppets also join CeeLo Green on his new holiday album "CeeLo's Magic Moment."
