Ohno, Smith get the boot from 'DWTS'

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Apolo Ohno, Emmitt Smith and their professional dance partners were eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles Tuesday night.

Ohno was paired with Karina Smirnoff for the all-stars edition of the show, while Smith performed with Cheryl Burke.

Dancers make it to the next round of competition through a combination of the judges' scores and viewers' votes.

Heading into next week's finals with their professional dance partners are Melissa Rycroft, Kelly Monaco and Shawn Johnson.

Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet are the co-hosts of the show.
