
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Ben Affleck, Seth MacFarlane and Channing Tatum were among stars honored at the 2012 GQ Men of the Year Awards presentation in Los Angeles.
The magazine said Monday those on its annual list were the "most incredible, awe-inspiring, prolific men [and women] who entertained, excited, and inspired us most this year."
Affleck was named Filmmaker of the Year, MacFarlane Funnyman of the Year and Tatum Movie Star of the Year, Rihanna was declared Obsession of the Year.
Usain Bolt was chosen as Athlete of the Year, the cast of "Parks and Recreation" Comedy Lab of the Year, Father John Misty Rock 'n' Roller of the Year, Chen Guangcheng Rebel of the Year, Rick Ross Bawse of the Year, Philip Seymour Hoffman Master of the Year, Riccardo Tisci Designer of the Year and Christopher Walken Badass of the Year.
Also honored were the male stars of the sitcom
"New Girl," the NASA Mars Rover Team and film director Quentin Tarantino and the stars of "Django Unchained."
The awards were presented at a party at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood last week.
