LOS ANGELES, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- CBS says "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" is to tape a Super Bowl Sunday special in New Orleans in February.

The late-night chat program in Los Angeles usually airs Monday through Friday, but a special football-themed special is scheduled to air Sunday, Feb. 3. Ferguson also served as host of a "Late Late Show" Super Bowl special in 2007.

"The good news is that CBS is flying me to the Super Bowl in New Orleans. The bad news: If the NFC wins, they're not flying me back," Ferguson joked in a statement.
