LOS ANGELES, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- A publicist for Amy Poehler and Will Arnett says the Hollywood couple have separated and plan to divorce.

People.com confirmed the split with the pair's representative Thursday, but no other details were immediately available.

The comedy stars married in August 2003 and have two pre-school age sons together.

Poehler is a former "Saturday Night Live" cast member and current star of the sitcom "Parks and Recreation."

Arnett is best known for his roles on TV's "Up All Night" and "Arrested Development."
