HOLLYWOOD, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- "Breaking Bad" alum Matt Jones has been cast in an episode of "The Office" that could serve as the pilot for a spinoff of the show, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Jones has been tapped to play Zeke, the mysterious cousin of Rain Wilson's Dwight Schrute, THR said.
The potential spinoff, "The Farm," centers on Dwight as a beet farmer who also runs a bed and breakfast inn. Jones would join Thomas Middleditch, Dwight's brother Jeb; Majandra Delfino, Dwight's sister Frannie; and Blake Garrett as Cameron, his nephew.
Jones previously appeared on "Breaking Bad" as Badger, Jesse Pinkman's friend, "TRON: Uprising" and episodes of "NCIS."
Producers announced Tuesday the upcoming ninth season of "The Office" will be its last.
