NEW YORK, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- M. Night Shyamalan and Marti Noxon are co-writing and serving as executive producers on a TV pilot called "Proof," America's Syfy cable network announced.

Shyamalan's film credits include the supernatural movies "The Sixth Sense," "Signs," "Unbreakable," "The Village" and "Lady in the Water."

Noxon was a writer-producer on the cult favorite television show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Details about their collaboration on "Proof" were disclosed Friday by Mark Stern, Syfy's president of original content and co-head of original content for Universal Cable Productions.

"In 'Proof,' after the tragic accident and sudden death of his parents, the son of a billionaire tech genius offers a large reward for anyone who can find proof of life after death," a synopsis said.

No casting for the possible series has been announced.
