LOS ANGELES, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Vince Vaughn and Peter Billingsley are producing an updated version of the classic sitcom "The Brady Bunch" for CBS, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The multicamera comedy will focus on Bobby Brady, a character from the original show, who is now a divorced dad starting a new family with his second wife, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.

The original ABC sitcom about a widower with three sons -- the youngest of whom was Bobby -- marrying a divorced woman with three daughters ran from 1969-74.

No casting for the contemporary version has been announced.
