HOLLYWOOD, July 29 (UPI) -- Four of the younger actors on "Modern Family" are seeking raises for their roles in the Emmy-winning show, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

Contract negotiations for Sarah Hyland, 21, Ariel Winter, 14, Nolan Gould, 13, and Rico Rodriguez, 13, are scheduled to begin next week with studio 20th Century Fox Television, sources, whose names were not reported, told THR.

Sources close to the actors' representatives said the four will be seeking big raises in exchange for adding an eighth season to their contracts.

At least three of the young stars, Gould, Rodriguez and Winter, have discussed the possibility of banding together to approach the studio with uniform salary demands, THR reported.

Hyland is likely earning more than the three younger actors because she came to the show with several credits to her name, THR said.

Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, 5, who signed on a year ago to play Lily, plays a smaller role and is not likely to receive a large raise, the entertainment industry publication said.
