LONDON, July 20 (UPI) -- British pop group Spice Girls are reuniting to perform at the London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony, The Telegraph reported Friday.

This will be the first time Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown and Victoria Beckham will take the stage together since 2008. They are expected to sing two songs, the newspaper said.

Also booked for the Aug. 12 event are George Michael, The Who, Take That and Jessie J.
