NEW YORK, July 20 (UPI) -- A new episode of the British comedy series "Absolutely Fabulous" will have its U.S. premiere on Logo next week, the cable network said.

The show will air Wednesday at the end of a viewers' choice "Absolutely Fabulous" marathon in honor of the show's 20th anniversary.

"In this latest 'Absolutely Fabulous' special, Eddy, played by Jennifer Saunders, has rented out her house to a Hollywood A-lister for the summer, but of course, she's still living in it, along with her daughter Saffy, played by Julia Sawalha, her mother, played by June Whitfield, and her assistant Bubble, played by Jane Horrocks," a synopsis said. "Hijinx of the highest level ensue as the [Olympics] sporting fever gets the best of all involved and Eddy and Patsy [her best friend, played by Joanna Lumley] make an unplanned appearance at the stadium."

The episode also features appearances by Chris Ryan, Mo Gaffney and Stella McCartney.

The show initially ran for three seasons between 1992 and 1995. A two-part television movie called "The Last Shout" aired in 1996 and was followed by two more seasons from 2001 to 2003, and three additional specials in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Three more specials also ran in 2011-12.
