MENDHAM, N.J., July 12 (UPI) -- A New Jersey mansion once owned by the late Whitney Houston has not been sold after three years on the market, a real-estate agent told the Newark Star-Ledger.

Houston bought the in Mendham Township five-bedroom home with a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi in 1987 for $2.7 million.

Although the mansion has been up for sale for three years, real-estate agent Robert Cross told the newspaper Houston's estate has not committed to any offers, which have been in the $1.75 million range.

"We presented every opportunity to sell it," Cross said. "[The Houstons] are being responsive but just have not committed to any offers. They obviously are making private decisions."

The Grammy Award-winning singer accidentally drowned Feb. 11 in a Beverly Hills, Calif., hotel bathroom after using cocaine. She was 48.
