VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 9 (UPI) -- Canadian celebrity chef Anthony Sedlak was found dead of apparently natural causes in his North Vancouver apartment.

He was 29 when he died last Friday of an undiagnosed medical condition, the Vancouver Sun reported, without offering further details.

The restaurateur and cookbook author was the host of Food Network Canada's "The Main" and a judge on "Family Cook Off."

The Sun said a private funeral service is being planned for him in Vancouver.
