Washington, Offerman to read Emmy nods

LOS ANGELES, July 6 (UPI) -- Television stars Kerry Washington and Nick Offerman are to announce the 64th Primetime Emmy Award nominees in Hollywood this month.

The "Scandal" actress and "Parks and Recreation" funnyman will read the names July 19 at 5:40 a.m. PT on Emmys.com, organizers said.

The Emmy Awards recognizing excellence in television are to be handed out during a Sept. 23 ceremony on ABC, with Jimmy Kimmel serving as host.
