LOS ANGELES, June 27 (UPI) -- American actor and singer Don Grady died of cancer Wednesday in Thousand Oaks, Calif., his family told The Hollywood Reporter said. He was 68.

Deadline first reported his death, but did not say what kind of cancer he had battled.

The San Diego native is best known for his portrayal of Robbie Douglas on the sitcom "My Three Sons." An original Mousketeer on "The Mickey Mouse Club," his other small-screen credits include "Wagon Train," "The Rifleman," "Have Gun Will Travel" and "Dick Powell's Zane Grey Theater."

He also recorded the albums "Homegrown" and "Boomer."

He is survived by his wife, Ginny, and their two children, Joey and Tessa, The Hollywood Reporter said.
