NEW YORK, June 15 (UPI) -- Syfy says British television personality Jack Osbourne is to star in its new paranormal reality series, "Haunted Highway."

Set to premiere July 3, the six-episode show follows two teams -- Osbourne and Dana Workman and Jael de Pardo and Devin Marble -- as they conduct first-person investigations of the most frightening claims of paranormal activity along America's remote back roads, the cable network said.

"Fueled by eyewitness interviews and evidence collected with state-of-the-art equipment, the two teams will self-document their harrowing face-to-face encounters with the paranormal," a synopsis said.
