LOS ANGELES, June 11 (UPI) -- "Green Acres," "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "Petticoat Junction" supporting player Frank Cady died at home in Wilsonville, Ore., his family said. He was 96.

His daughter, Catherine Turk, confirmed his Friday death to the Los Angeles Times, but she did not say what the specific cause was.

The California-born radio broadcaster-turned-actor also was a cast member of "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" and had small parts in films such as Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window," the Times said.

He moved to Oregon with his wife, Shirley, in the 1990s. She died in 2008.
