Cusick won't be back for more 'Scandal'

LOS ANGELES, June 8 (UPI) -- Actor Henry Ian Cusick isn't returning to the Washington-set political drama "Scandal" for a second season, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The former "Lost" star and "Scandal" show-runner Shonda Rhimes parted amicably, but no specific reason was given for the split, the entertainment industry newspaper said.

Joshua Malina, a former "West Wing" cast member who played the recurring role of U.S. Attorney David Rosen on "Scandal" last season, will join the ensemble full-time in Season 2, The Hollywood Reporter said.
