LOS ANGELES, May 6 (UPI) -- Julie Benz, a former star of "Dexter," married fiance Rich Orosco in a Cinco de Mayo-themed wedding in Los Angeles, her representative confirmed.

Benz's camp told People the ceremony took place at a historic home in the trendy Los Feliz neighborhood of LA.

The event had a Mexican flavor to it in honor of Cinco de Mayo and the groom's Mexican heritage, People said. Orosco, a 39-year-old marketing executive, met Benz five years ago and popped the question last year.

The couple have been living together in Los Angeles.
