LOS ANGELES, April 4 (UPI) -- Soap star Jack Wagner and his professional dance partner Anna Trebunskaya have been eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles.

"I just had a great time. It was fun to test myself and thanks to the judges," Wagner said Monday night upon hearing his fate. "Good luck to everybody else, all the contestants."

Before Wagner got the boot, he said he was feeling "simple gratitude," People.com reported.

"It's been such a great ride," he said. "I love Anna. I'm so grateful for her."

Wagner, 52, is best known for his work on TV's "The Bold and the Beautiful," "General Hospital" and "Melrose Place."

Still in the running for the coveted mirror-ball trophy, along with their professional dance partners, are TV personality Sherri Shepherd, actress Melissa Gilbert, actor Jaleel White, football player Donald Driver, "Extra" host Maria Menounos, Disney Channel star Roshon Fegan, actor-model William Levy, and singers Gladys Knight, Gavin DeGraw and Katherine Jenkins.
