LOS ANGELES, March 29 (UPI) -- FX says it has ordered six episodes of a U.S. late-night comedy series starring comedian W. Kamau Bell and produced by Chris Rock.

The untitled weekly half-hour show is to debut this summer, Variety reported.

"The presentation pilot that Chris and Kamau shot was terrific," Nick Grad, FX executive vice president of original programming, told the entertainment industry trade newspaper. "Kamau is a tremendous young comedian who has a very smart and sharp take on life. Working with Chris will only bring out the best of his talents."
