NEW YORK, March 8 (UPI) -- Andy Cohen and Giuliana Rancic are to return as hosts of the 61st annual Miss USA pageant in Las Vegas, officials said Thursday.

The event is to take place June 3 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Cohen is the host of Bravo's "Watch What Happens: Live" and Rancic is the co-anchor of "E! News." They also presided over last year's Miss USA competition.

Their participation in the 2012 edition was announced Thursday by NBC, Donald J. Trump and Paula M. Shugart.

"The city of Las Vegas, one of the most exciting cities in the world, will once again set the stage for the Miss USA competition, giving 51 of the most beautiful women in the country a chance to win the coveted title of Miss USA," Trump said in a statement. "Planet Hollywood has consistently rolled out the red carpet for our contestants and it is a natural for us to host the pageant there."
