NEW YORK, Feb. 29 (UPI) -- Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is three months pregnant, sources close to the "Jersey Shore" star told the New York Post.
The 24-year-old reality TV personality, known for her hard-partying ways, is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Jionni LaValle, the report said.
Insiders told the newspaper Polizzi is to announce her pregnancy in an upcoming Us Weekly cover story. The news apparently is not sitting well with MTV, which airs "Jersey Shore" and will also be home to the as-yet-unnamed spinoff she has been taping.
"MTV went into crisis mode after they found out," the Post quoted an unnamed source as saying. "They're trying to hide it because it would greatly affect the creative direction of the show."
