LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Former "Roseanne" actors John Goodman and Roseanne Barr could reunite in a new NBC comedy, Variety reported.
Goodman, who played Dan Conner in the ABC hit "Roseanne," is close to finalizing a deal to co-star in the pilot of "Downwardly Mobile," Variety said.
The NBC show would feature Barr as the owner of a trailer home park who acts as a surrogate mother to its residents. If the deal is finalized, Goodman would play an ex-Marine who lives at the park.
Barr was Goodman's wife in "Roseanne," which ran from 1988 to 1997. Since then, Goodman has had a number of supporting roles in television and film, like HBO's "Treme" and the Oscar-nominated "The Artist."
