NEW YORK, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Actress Morgan Fairchild will be among the guest stars in Season 2 of Fran Drescher's U.S. sitcom, "Happily Divorced," TV Land said Friday.

The show's sophomore season is to kick off March 7.

Filmed in front of a live studio audience, "Happily Divorced" stars Drescher and is inspired by her real-life experience as a woman who finds out after 18 years of marriage her husband is gay.

In the show character Fran and her ex-husband Peter, played by John Michael Higgins, can't sell their house and must continue to live together as they both re-enter the dating world.

The cast also features Tichina Arnold, Rita Moreno and Robert Walden.

"Fran's sense of humor, timing and creative force will keep the fans of 'Happily Divorced' engaged and laughing," Larry W. Jones, president of TV Land, said in a statement. "We can't wait to see where she will take us in these next 12 episodes."

Drescher will also re-unite with Renee Taylor and Ann Guilbert, who played her mother and grandmother respectively on "The Nanny," during the upcoming season of "Happily Divorced."
