LOS ANGELES, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Two U.S. actors' unions have launched a Web site in support of a campaign for their merger, union officials said.

The Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists have created a Web site, www.sagaftra.org, a Facebook page and Twitter account.

The Web site contains a FAQ, news, events and videos on general subjects and on pension and healthcare issues involved in the proposed merger of the two entities, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

The Web site includes a copy of the proposed merger agreement, a new union constitution and a feasibility study on combining the two unions' pension and health plans that had been made public earlier in the week.

Ballot materials, including an opposition position, will be sent to the members of both unions for a vote on or about Feb. 27.
