LOS ANGELES, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Characters from "Hawaii Five-0" and "NCIS: Los Angeles" are to shoot crossover episodes for a two-night event, CBS said Friday.

Chris O'Donnell's character Callen and LL Cool J's Hanna first join forces with the Five-0 investigators in Hawaii on a case concerning a deadly virus possibly being used as a murder weapon on "Hawaii: Five-0." Five-0 partners McGarrett, played by Alex O'Loughlin, and Williams, played by Scott Caan, then rush to Los Angeles with Callen and Hanna to combine their efforts on the mainland to track down who may be in the market to buy the virus on "NCIS: Los Angeles."
